Radio network optimisation
By using ray-tracing propagation models, building data, traffic data and an automated optimisation software solution, we set radio networks to the optimum parameters. This improves network quality, while making it possible to achieve the required network targets (KPIs) and reduce network infrastructure costs.
This automated optimisation and planning can be used for various tasks:
- Optimising an existing network
- Optimising planning (achieving the KPIs at minimum investment)
- Selecting optimum sites when several variants are possible
- Creating new plans with an automated planning tool
The optimisation process can be carried out and weighted based on various criteria, thus achieving the best possible result:
- Static KPIs (coverage, interference, etc.)
- Dynamic KPIs (coverage probability, UL/DL balance, etc.)
- Optimised costs (man power & infrastructure/equipment costs)
