COMS coverage measurement system
System for coverage measurements in the frequency range up to 3.5GHz.
The COMS measurement system consists of software modules for preparing, carrying out and evaluating large-scale coverage measurements. Measurements are taken based on the ESVx range of measuring receivers developed by Rohde&Schwarz, which can be used to record up to 3000 measured values per second. Measurement is triggered either by a displacement sensor in the measuring vehicle or by a timer. All common GPS formats are supported for navigation. The evaluation makes it possible to analyse the raw data, display route profiles and draw up supply maps. All COMS applications run on conventional PCs with a Windows operating system.
